Nordcapital Real Estate employs a team of specialists from the banking and real estate sectors. They track developments in the real estate market, identify suitable investment properties, and make use of attractive investment opportunities.
Strategic property selection
For selection of properties, Nordcapital concentrates on markets characrerised by stable economic conditions (including consideration of tax aspects). The properties have excellent transport connections and are located in central positions which are in good long-term demand. Attention is given to quality of the buildings and their fittings, ideally with new building standard. To ensure long-term planning reliability, they have long-term rental contracts – normally at least ten years – with tenants having good credit standing. To ensure better exit options, medium-sized properties are chosen for closed-end funds, used either by a sole tenant, or by a small number of tenants.
Nordcapital real estate funds
In total, Nordcapital has financed 18 properties via 12 real estate funds in the Netherlands, the UK and the USA. Total investment volume is about €555 million. All real estate funds set up by Nordcapital are proceeding on plan or better.
