When you use our website, we collect and process certain data, some of it personal, for the purposes explained below.
Access data
When the Nordcapital.com internet portal is accessed, a standard data record is created on the web server. This data record comprises:
- the page from which the file was requested,
- the name of the file requested,
- the date and time of the inquiry,
- the volume of data transmitted,
- the access status (file transmitted, file not found etc.),
- a description of the type of web browser used,
- the IP address of the accessing computer.
The IP address is saved solely for the purpose of enabling us to defend ourselves against improper use of our web files; the data is subsequently deleted. The data records are not used to create personal user profiles, but exclusively for statistical analysis, i.e. to give us an overview of the frequency of access to the individual segments of our internet offering. This analysis helps us to adapt our website to your needs. The data is not passed on to any third parties, or used for any other kind of evaluation.
Cookies
Cookies are small files that teleservice providers store on your computer for various reasons. If you log in as an investor or a sales partner, a cookie will be sent to your computer. The placing of this cookie serves exclusively to control your session as a registered user.
Right of objection
You can object to your data being used as described above (i.e. for purposes of statistical analysis). If you wish to do so, please notify us of your objection under the e-mail address given below.
Your rights as a user
Pursuant to Sections 34 and 35 of the German Federal Data Protection Act (Bundesdatenschutzgesetz), you as a user (the Act refers to the “affected party”) are entitled to ask to be informed at any time about the data we hold on you and the purpose for which we are holding it. In addition, you can correct incorrect data or require data to be deleted if the saving of it is inadmissible or no longer necessary.
