Managing Director
Peter Welge
Member of the Management Board of equitrust AG since 1 October 2006 – responsible for equitrust’s direct investment business as well as its fund management unit. Prior to equitrust Peter Welge worked as Managing Director of Equity Link GmbH where he advised on small-cap transactions in the context of family successions, industrial mergers or buy-and-build strategies. From 1996 to 2004 he worked at the pan-European private equity firm IK Investment Partners in London and Hamburg, where he helped establish IK in the German market and had leading roles in structuring numerous buyouts. Peter Welge started his career in 1994 at Merrill Lynch in London working as an analyst in the European M&A Group.
Managing Director
Dr. Dirk Tetzlaff
Dr. Tetzlaff has been a member of the Management Board of equitrust AG since 1 April 2007. He previously worked for more than six years in management positions at the pan-European private equity firm Industri Kapital, where he made a major contribution to the firm’s success in Germany with investments in Gardena, DSI, Sport Group and Minimax. Before his career in private equity Dr. Tetzlaff worked for many years as a consultant at Boston Consulting Group.
Immediately after completing his degree in business studies Dr. Tetzlaff worked for a year and a half as assistant to the managing director of Waggonfabrik Talbot in Aachen.
